The Tasmanian Charolais region has developed this site to allow cattle producers interested in using Charolais in cross breeding programs to access information on the subject, and most importantly, to read about the many success stories throughout Tasmania of producers using Charolais genetics to boost the profitabilty of their cattle breeding enterprise.

We also view other Stud Breeders from around Australia as potentially interested in some of the unique genetics and phenotype of Charolais that has evolved in Tasmania since the first introductions over 35 years ago.
